....Kim's whims

Having a difficult time thinking of a title for this one.....Yes, ME, at a loss for words! Kind of a once in a lifetime moment, n'est pas??? I will think of one by the time I am done.......

Sooooo, let's see...this week and last were kinda interesting. Got word on the other ankle...another tear up the middle...not the best news for sure. Went back to actually teaching, which was great! I really missed it, and one of my favorite pieces of my curriculum too...Volleyball!!! It felt great...all the way up until yesterday (Friday). My body finally gave in and I got a darn cold! I have not had one all year...maybe because I haven't been working as much this year! Anyhow, it was/is a fast moving one...felt it Thursday night, and whammo...by Friday afternoon all I wanted to do was climb back into bed and sleep, which is exactly what I did once I first got home to pick up Kyle and take him to two music stores looking for some sound distorter thing for his bass guitar, stopped at a store for some "Zicam" to help relieve these symptoms, and then finally BACK home again to get into bed! Felt good enough for some soup for dinner by about 7 p.m. when I woke up. Hoping it will be a quick one...heading to the warmth of the Caribbean in a few short weeks afterall!

Today, I spent two hours at the infamous Bangor Auditorium watching 19 Cheerleading Squads perform their hearts out, including MDI and Ellsworth...My Old Town Coyotes (God I hate that name) were also there, and ended up in 5th place out of the 6 who qualify for the States. I was actually there with my good friend Renee, whose daughter cheers for John Bapst...They were INCREDIBLE!!! Not one wasted second...these girls were moving the whole time they were on the floor, and were the only team with serious tumblers and stunts who didn't drop anyone or stumble during a tumbling run. They won the Eastern Maine Championship for Class B, so that was good for them, and I was very pleased for Renee's daughter Nikol. She is a great young lady...started school with Kyle, so they have been friends for a while...It was fun. It is an amazing thing to watch these teams and their choreography...

Got a kick out of Super Sib #1's "top ten" and could not resist adding a few of my own FOR her...wondering if this means #2 and I have been "tagged" now too??? Should we oblige as well now? Inquiring minds want to know!!! haha

Ok...heading to bed...watching Pretty Woman on the tele...for the umteenth time...Bon soir

Kimmie
(see...I DID come up with a title afterall)

ahem... seriously??? You and I could have some fun with a top 10 list. Who else can say they greeted "Dr. Doom" night after night with shrieks, flying stuff animals and flailing bed covers. ;)
