Had the MRI on the "good" achillies tendon today...that would be the right one...the one I have been limping around on since Sept. while I barely put weight on the left one. Anyhow, will know tomorrow the actual damage I have done to that one...we knew there were issues, he and I both felt another split up the middle of it as well, but since I can walk on it and push off of it, left it alone for now...now that the other one is finally healing, I really wanted to know just what I will be facing in the future or sooner! I do NOT plan on rushing into this one...but asked about the possibility of arthroscopy on it...he said no because if it is split like the other one, he needs to sew in some more cadaver tissue, and assured me it WILL rupture eventually...but, and I quote, 'since I already know what to expect it should be no problem!' YEAH....THERE IS A PROBLEM...I have already done this twice which should have covered BOTH ankles aready....SHIT (sorry for the profanity)!
So, will know more tomorrow....GREAAAAAT.
Today, went to see The Bucket List with my friend and "surrogate Mom" Penny, and Rob Goodwin, we loved it! Do not listen to the idiot reviewers....this was a great film! I would buy it, and we all agreed we would see it again...very thought provoking. So, I am now making my OWN Bucket List for real...Let's face it, we all have a list in our minds of things we would LIKE to do before we die....Now I am just going to actually put it down in writing though.
Back to work tomorrow...real work...actual teaching...on my feet as in...Wish me luck!

Yeah...I'm thinkin' that too! Got the word on the MRI, but from the P.A. not the Surg...and he was sort of skimmin/reading it to me over the phone...something to the effect of same type of tear up the middle, swelling/edema, and 20% involvement...I need to talk with the Dr. now to see exactly what he thinks and what the Radiologist wrote....but it hurts like hell back to work...can hardly move to do my job, plus I'm in this brace for the "repaired" one. I HATE THIS....
