It does appear we all made out ok on this last round of "snow and ice" mix....Sorry, didn't get any...got rain instead. What the heck else will Mother Nature have in store for us this coming spring??? Me thinks flooding is inevitable....
Picked out and ordered my new floor tiles for the kitchen and upstairs bath...going with the same tile cause it's just easier, but I was tempted to use two different ones. They match as it is now, so just figured this would be ok.
Kyle will be signing up for (gulp) Driver's Ed this week...start on St. Paddy's day for his first class. Brewer High used to house a program, but has since dropped it, which will make transportation to the classes themselves in Bangor a bit interesting...they start at 3:00 and I don't leave Old Town until 2:40 at the earliest! So, will have to ask my wonderful neighbors if they wouldn't mind driving him over there for the three weeks classes are in session...hate to do that though. If he doesn't take this session though it will be close to summer and he will be working, I hope.
Thinking about going to Florida in April...this rotten weather is making me crazy, and my friend Bob can "buddy pass" us down to stay with them for very cheap! They will be heading to a wedding during the last part of our vacation week, so we can house sit/cat sit for them which will help them out. Bob was going to check on seats for us first though...stand by is not a lot of fun sometimes, but you can't beat the price.
Hate this day...losing an hour makes it just go too fast. I will end up tired for the next three with the lost 60 minutes too...always gets me, but AM glad for the increased light!
