Things are lookin' up...

Yup, finally....the ankle is feeling GREAT! I think is is further along than the first one I had done prior to rupturing it totally. I can't wait to see the Dr. to hear what he thinks. Still some nerve pain, but the mobility is good!

Kyle, just applied for a job at the Walmart McDonalds and has an interview tomorrow...his buddy told him today that they were still hiring, so we went up and the manager seemed to like him. Of course, Mr. Know-it-all didn't want to listen to Mom who suggested he be SURE to hand his app. directly to the Mgr. or Shift Supervisor and not the girl at the counter...he pissed and moaned, so I left him there to decide...he made the right decision in the long run....then apologized to me. : )

The woman who pretty much GAVE Kyle money all winter/spring for feeding her cat and doing other odd jobs is now selling her car. It's a '94 Subaru, immaculate, 70,000 miles, no rust (amazing for a Subaru), automatic (good for him at this point), and she told us today she thinks she is only gonna ask him for $2000!!! I couldn't believe that...that was what I planned to put down as a down payment for the used Jeep I STILL don't have yet, so I have to consider this for him, and keep my Rav at this point. He can buy it from me on time for that price. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's red...I HATE RED...but, I won't be driving it much anyhow, so we are keeping our fingers crossed on the job and the car. I need to go check out the car tomorrow at some point, and he needs to drive it.

Kyle had a wonderful time at the Drop Kick Murphy concert...he said it was awesome and that the boys even got up on the stage, but that Becky, Tyler's girl, wouldn't. She seemed a bit shy when she was here, but very nice too.
I got to go sailing with my "other Mom and Dad" on Saturday...GREAT day for it too...superb!

So, things are, IN FACT, looking up here in the beautiful city of Brewer!

Later.
