Ok...yeah it can, but I am not used to this....really, how does one get USED to this?
So, the new girlfriend is now shall we say, "in the past".....she decided to kiss some guy she used to date, then broke up with my boy via text message...NICE! She doesn't deserve him as far as I can see. Kyle took it all in stride...she has called and tried to text him a few times since to no avail. He is standing strong and has no use for her now...good for him I say. He actually came in and shared all this with me...made me feel good that he felt safe and comfortable doing so. Anyhow, she obviously "made a mistake" but he is not about to back down. His buddy Sheb said he would punch him in the head if he did....hahaha I love that kid!!! So, Super Sibs, don't mention her to him when you see him. Actually, he talked with Anna tonight and told her, but didn't tell her everything-was sort of privately vague.
Mother Dearest calls me..twice today. I was not here the first time...answered the second call...said "hello"....waited a good 5 plus seconds, and got no answer, so hung up. When I looked up who it was who called, I couldn't understand why she didn't call back....weird. So, I succumbed and called her back...she said something about not remembering how to use her DVD player, but Ty and Don helped her....she still can't look at the Italy pics of course as they are CD Rom not DVD's....oh well.
Bed time...thinking of following Super Sib 1's idea of "downsizing" my decorations this Christmas...tomorrow, I will put the candles in the windows and perhaps a few favorite items out and about...but not all the stuff I usually do....just not into it with this gimpy leg and all this year...thankfully Kyle understands. He better cause HE will be the one out there Monday morning snow blowing or shoveling, not me!!! Like I need a snow storm now too!!!
