Yes, I got out of the house today...sssssh, don't tell MOM! This time I didn't call the office to see if I could drive, I merely assumed, based on what they told me. It was fine, clutching etc...the hard part this trip is watching myself on the snow and ice with the crutches...I REALLY have to pay attention...even in my own kitchen. Kyle walked across the floor with his wet sneakers and my crutches slipped on that, which hurt....
So, got some milk, vodka, a lime, a card for someone, and that was about all I could handle....tiring. Tomorrow, my trip might be to Walmart (if I dare)....no matter which door you go in though, you usually have to maneuver your way across the store further away than you parked..and on crutches, every step counts. So, will plan that trip on where things that I need are located in the store.
My neighbors got a great Christmas present...actually TWO....early. Their 2 new grandchildren were born yesterday morning (C section twins) who were not suppose to arrive for a few more days, but what the heck...they wanted out. Brandi's water broke early in the a.m. so they went in, and both the babies are healthy, not on ventilators or anything, and are beautiful. Jeanne sent me the first photos of her new grandbabies via the internet....a cute pair-one boy and one girl, Addison and Trent. I'm happy for them.
Getting some wrapping done...actually didn't do any today-work related things to do from home instead (ugh), but will try to get some more done tonight. Not the easiest thing to do on a bed...hard to get a smooth wrap job that way....haha
Okey dokey kids....I see that you are both pretty busy so thought I would "regale" you with MY news (ok...so Deed went and blogged today, but it had been a while).

Some idiot snow plow driver ripped the wires off my building just got my internet and phone up yesterday after 4 days!
